Monte Pascoal - Saxophone & Percussion Quartet
With an unprecedented formation, the group wisely brings together the universes of classical and popular music and the result is creative and high quality music. It is formed by saxophonists Renato Goulart, Luis Flávio Aguiar, Ivan Egídio, Roberto Júnior percussionist Eduardo Campos. The Show features new songs by Brazilian composers, including Milton Nascimento, Edu Lobo, Chico Buarque, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Hermeto Pascoal, important MPB classics and classical repertoire pieces that they interpret with competence and personality.
Song of Illuminations
The group brings to the public “A Capella Iluminada”, its new work for the 2016 season, which has in its repertoire both music composed nas Iberian cathedrals and those performed in court . The songs are a sample of the polyphonic style of the Franco-Flemish influence, perceived in the musical production of the Renaissance movement, in the 16th century.
